Ethics

on intelligence, sovereignty, and trust

Your brain is yours.

Every brain node in this constellation is owned and governed by the individual it belongs to. We do not access your memory, your conversations, or your documents. The operator of a node is its sole sovereign. No central authority holds your data.

Models are instruments, not authorities.

We name the models we use: currently Claude (Anthropic) as primary, Mistral 7B as local fallback. These are tools under your governance — not autonomous agents with their own agenda. You decide what your brain knows, what it forgets, and who it talks to.

No surveillance.

We do not profile behavior across nodes. We do not sell data or use it for model training without explicit consent. What happens inside your brain stays inside your brain.

Federation is voluntary.

When two brains share context, both parties consent. The protocol is open; the content is yours. No brain can be read by another without an explicit, revocable agreement.

You can always leave.

Your documents, embeddings, and conversation history are yours to export at any time. The right to exit is unconditional. A system you cannot leave is not sovereign infrastructure — it is a cage.
